For the past 42 years, I have given Piano and
Music Theory lessons at my home in Southampton to children and
adults ranging from Beginners to Grade Eight +. Some pupil's
wish to prepare for various examinations (e.g.. "Associated Board
of the Royal Schools of Music" Grades or G.C.S.E.)
Some
pupil's wish to play an instrument for their own pleasure
without considering examination work at all. If you are already
an accomplished musician - or if you are an adult and have
played the Piano when you were younger you may wish to revise
and reconsider your technique with some lessons.
There
are currently (January 2012) a few vacancies in my Time Table ~
Please note however that times available constantly change. For
further information and details please see my Contact page.
On making an initial inquiry I will ask you which day and time
is most convenient for you to attend for your weekly lesson. I
will do my best to arrange a time as near to your preference as
possible ~ although of course some days are more heavily booked
than others! If lessons (booked in advance) are missed because
of other commitments alternative times within the same week will
be offered.
Parents of young pupils are very welcome to
"sit in" on the lessons. Pupils whose other commitments prevent
them from having their lesson at the same time each week may
make a different appointment for their next lesson each time
they attend. I offer a very flexible Time Table and am at
present available for teaching Monday to Friday 3.30pm ~ 7.00pm
and on Saturday from 10.45am until 12.noon. You will be taught
by a committed professional who will do his very best to help
you. |
